I grew up in a small town in central Maryland and have a large family most of who still live in the area. I lived in both Washington and Frederick Counties; areas rich in Civil War History and sprawling agricultural areas. Due to urban spread and economic growth Frederick County is less than an hour drive from Washington DC and Baltimore MD.
In 1997 I changed direction and relocated to the lovely state of Hawaii. In the years since moving west I've called the islands of Molokai, Maui and the Big Island (Hawaii) home.
Out of the necessity to survive but more so do to a keen interest in places and people and a natural willingness to change, my life has been tremendously enriched by the people I've encountered along the way and the education that comes with diversity. Since arriving in Hawaii I’ve learned a bit about a lot of things and a lot about other things.
In 2000 along with a partner we setup a local ISP and then ultimately sold the Internet part of the business in 2005. In 2006 Web Rocket Hosting {WRH} came into existance which was the hosting side of the ISP. I've been an active Licensed Real Estate Agent in Hawaii since 2004. A number of other personal endeavors have been very rewarding personally and professionally.
